RULES & GUIDELINES

1.   The competition is conducted by India Social and Cultural Centre and is open to Indians residing in UAE

2.  Competition to be held for five groups A, B, C, D & E  based on age category.

3.  Age will be considered as on 05/05/2015 and to be verified by passport copy. The age entered in the form should match with the DOB in the age proof documents. Wrong entries will be rejected upon verification.

4.  Last date for submission of completed registration form along with age proof document and applicable fee shall be submitted latest by 05/05/2015. Entry forms can be submitted at ISC reception or can be scanned and sent to the email address given in this form.

5.  India Social and Cultural Centre reserves the right to close the registration earlier than the closing date, if entries for participation exceed the capacity of the venue.

 6.  Any events with less than 5 entries will be cancelled except group items, which shall be of minimum 3 teams to conduct the event.

 7.  Each group items, maximum 9 persons are allowed per group.

 8.  Exceeding the time limit will lead in to disqualification.

 9.  For Light Music Solo, only non-film folk songs/Geet/Ghazal/Bhajan Snabed and abhangas can be presented. No back ground music is allowed for Light Music competition, all other item can have background music if required.

 10.  For Fancy Dress, the participant will not be allowed to change the Back curtain set at the venue and to set properties on the venue. Only handheld properties are allowed. No background music or voice is allowed.

 11.  Karaoke or any supporting music recorded in Mp3 format in CD and USB media labelled with Chest No. should be handed over to the official at the venue desk before competition starts.

 12.  PERCUSSION Western instruments can be: Tripple, Drum, Jazz, etc.

13.  Entry Fee for ISC member (Including Dance Forms) AED 60/- and AED 10/- for every additional event (Max. 4 events).

14.  Entry Fee for non- member (Including Dance Forms) AED 75/- and AED 10/- for every additional event (Max. 4 events).

 15.  Entry Fee for ISC member (Exluding Dance Forms) AED 20/- and AED 10/- for every additional event (Max. 4 events).

 16.  Entry Fee for non- member (Exluding Dance Forms) AED 30/- and AED 10/- for every additional event (Max. 4 events).

 17.  The fee for group event shall be AED 100/- and 7- 9 persons are allowed in a group.

 18.  Entry fee shall be paid upon registration at ISC reception. Participation shall be confirmed upon the receipt of payment. Entry fee will not be refunded upon cancellation by participant/absent for the event.

19.  All participants shall report 60 minutes prior to the scheduled event time to complete the registration process and to set the sequence of participation by lot. In case of late reporting to any event, the participation of the candidate/teams shall be purely under the  discretion of the programme committee.

 20.  It is the responsibility of the accompanying parent(s)/participant to look after their best conduct within the  premises of ISC, ISC Management  shall  not  be responsible for any  consequences owing to this.

 21.  All participants shall be given participation certificates. Competitors in individual items will be given grades according to the following criteria. Grade A (76-100 Marks) Grade B (60-75 Marks) Grade C (46-59 Marks) Grade D (35-45 Marks).

 22.  There shall be an individual champion among male (ISC- Prathibha 2015) , and another among female  (ISC- Thilak 2015) participants decided on the basis of total points stored in individual items by individual participants. Points will be awarded to the Winners as:- First Place 5, Second Place 3 and 3rd Place 1.

 23.  Managing Committee reserves the right to make any changes / modification in the event schedule.

 24.  The decision of the Judges shall be final and binding on all participants without any  contestation or disputes.
